We are once again able to display recent Airbnb reviews of guests given by other hosts in the Guest Insights section of an Inbox conversation.
We've been speaking in recent Town Halls about the impact Google has had on our direct booking velocity, and now you can see for yourself! The Google Vacation Rentals tab in your Direct Channels page now displays your impressions, click throughs to your Direct booking site, and bookings.

We also added a control so you can tell us whether or not your promo code can be used in addition to a weekly or monthly discount. If the reservation already contains a length of stay discount, we hide the promo code field.
One of the best kept secrets at Hospitable was that you could edit the check-in and check-out time of a reservation directly from the Inbox. Secrets aren't part of our culture at Hospitable, so we updated the interface on reservations to make it easier for everyone to use. This feature is especially useful for smart lock users, as changing the reservation time will update when your codes are active.
After many years in development, our top engineers have now made it possible for you to edit your Hospitable user profile photo! The truth is that we are getting ready to let hosts personalize more of their communication and so this long-standing oversight finally got some attention.
When generating replies for co-hosted properties, we now use the name of the host selected in the Inbox, rather than defaulting to the primary host.
All Hospitable users now have access to our new and improved ChatGPT prompt.
This upgrade will allow you to use the Suggest with AI feature in the Hospitable inbox to answer even more questions related to your property, rules, policies, as well as reservation details.
Custom Quotes are now live, allowing Direct Basic and Premium hosts to generate a personalized quote for guests who may contact them outside of their Direct booking website. We'll hold a temporary block on the dates until the guest completes payment, or until the quote expires, unblocking the dates. More info.
If you're using a self-hosted Direct site and still use the old version of our booking widget, you'll need to update before February 15th. Check our help article for more info. Hospitable sites are not impacted.

Short codes are used to dynamically pull information from outside sources into your messaging rules. Most of the time, short code data is pulled from the booking platform. We're re-imagining how hosts leverage short codes, starting with 2 new short codes: %guidebook%

These short codes are property-specific, and populated by you - our hosts - giving you the flexibility to send any type of guidebook or rental agreement URL automatically through messaging rules.

In our latest round of enhancements, we're bringing you several exciting updates to our smart lock features:
New Integrations
IglooHome and Nuki Locks are now available for all users.
Backup Codes + Code Communication
To further enhance smart lock reliability, backup codes and code communications to guests are now the default setting for all beta users. This will soon be live for all users as well!
No More Code Communication Reminder Messages
After some great feedback, we removed the code communication reminder messages. We will now only communicate a code on your behalf if no code has been sent or if there was an issue with the code that was sent.
Improved Display of Connection Requirements
We now display when a lock isn't connected due to a subscription issue or if a required hub isn't connected.
New Notifications for Failures
Receive real-time notifications if a reservation is altered during a guest's stay and the code cannot be updated.
Code Length and Denial Issues Resolved
We've fixed issues related to the code length not setting correctly or being denied incorrectly.

We normally use the language of the guest's first message to determine their preferred language, but some reservations start before we receive any messages from the guest. In those cases, we now get the preferred language from the guest's Airbnb or Vrbo preferences.

Enable the 'Prioritize the language of the conversation' toggle in Hospitable account's Settings > Preferences > Guest experience to allow Hospitable to send message templates in your guest's preferred language, if present.
After successful beta testing, the IglooHome smart locks integration is now launched for all users!
Just go to your Apps page, select the IglooHome app card, and click Connect. We'll start creating and managing the codes for all your reservations right away!
We do not support offline pin codes (algoPINs), and some locks require a bridge or keypad to be connected.
